Vicissitude
The sick and twisted art of bone and flesh crafting. Always remember it is a GIFT! NOTE: Many rolls in this discipline require the use of the "Bodycraft" Ability. This is a subsection of the "Craft" skill on the character sheet which allows the user to make the complex movements and alterations and may be purchased with experience, the same as "Crafts". |
Level 1, "Malleable Visage": With this gift, kindred may, through skin to skin contact make minor cosmetic changes to the appearance of themselves or other creatures. The changes could be a foot of height, skin tone, voice, or facial features. The kindred spends 1 Blood Point (per body part to be changed) and rolls Intelligence and Bodycrafts; difficulty 6. Duplication of another person or voice requires a Perception and Bodycrafts roll; difficulty 8. 5 successes are needed for a perfect duplicate and fewer successes will result in minor (or not so minor) flaws with the copy. It is possible to permanently raise Appearance scores, but doing so is taxing and requires the expenditure of 1 Willpower point per attempt and the difficulty is ALWAYS 10. NOTE: This is permanent on mortals, ghouls, and kindred of higher generation, but those of lower generation can heal it like aggravated damage. ALSO NOTE: This is a TEMPORARY solution to the curse on clan Nosforatu, as the gift will take effect, but will always revert at the next sunrise.

Caitfflord Says:
Ah, Vicissitude. This discipline is quite powerful. The ability to mold yourself into others. Bone Spurs on your fists or bone quills to defend yourself. Not to mention Horrid Form, a very good discipline. |
Caitffprince Says:
Disgusting and beautiful at the same time. This discipline somehow manages to take the most horrid things imaginable and make them into art, offence, defense, and grotesque beauty all wrapped up in one neat little package. A gem. |
